The strongest named shower in this August view. Its fast meteors often produce bright events and persistent visual trains, with activity rising sharply before maximum.
A broad southern shower with medium-fast, generally faint meteors. From SO8OO its radiant culminates low in the southern sky.
A slow, low-rate shower noted for bright meteors and occasional fireballs. Its activity is declining through the first half of August.
A fast, low-rate shower with a southern radiant. Its broad activity overlaps the early rise of the Perseids.
A slow northern shower overlapping the Perseids. Its radiant remains above the local horizon throughout the day during this interval.
